Wavy mottler

Yellowish China bristles,                   waved tin mount, 60-185       mm wide. China bristles               are flaking, tapering hog bristles that split up into approx. 2-4 fine fibres.                  These natural qualities en-                able them to hold paint ef-             fectively and release paint well. Wavy mottlers are broad, very thin brushes whose bristles are held in            a waved tin ferrule. The                     mottle is used for stippling                     to create beech-wood imitations.
